Don\u2019t miss the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/english.ucas.ac.cn\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>UCAS<\/strong><\/a><strong>&#8211;<\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.anso.org.cn\/\"><strong>ANSO<\/strong><\/a><strong>&#8211;<\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/apru.org\/\"><strong>APRU<\/strong><\/a><strong> International Summer School 2025<\/strong>, a unique opportunity to engage in cutting-edge research, collaborate with top scientists, and experience Chinese culture\u2014all while building a global academic network!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Programme Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hosted by the\u00a0<strong>University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS)<\/strong>, the\u00a0<strong>Alliance of International Science Organizations (ANSO)<\/strong>, and the\u00a0<strong>Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU)<\/strong>, this summer school focuses on\u00a0<strong>&#8220;Earth Science for a Shared Future.&#8221;<\/strong>\u00a0Participants will explore\u00a0<strong>advanced research, attend expert lectures, and work in world-class laboratories<\/strong>\u00a0while connecting with peers from around the world.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Programme Structure<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1\ufe0f. <strong>Online Coursework (25 June \u2013 1 July 2025)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Interactive Zoom sessions on the latest Earth Science advancements.<\/li>\n<li>Open to all interested applicants (limited slots available).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>2\ufe0f. <strong>Onsite Research Project (5\u201311 July 2025)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct hands-on research at\u00a0<strong>leading CAS institutes<\/strong>\u00a0in\u00a0<strong>Beijing, Nanjing, or Xi\u2019an<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Access\u00a0<strong>state-of-the-art labs<\/strong>, collaborate with top researchers, and participate in cultural activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Full-time undergraduate, Master\u2019s, or PhD students<\/strong>\u00a0(must have completed at least 2 years of study by July 2025).<\/li>\n<li>Background in\u00a0<strong>Earth Science, Environmental Science, Ecology, Biology, Chemistry, or Physics<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Strong academic record &amp; fluency in English.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Priority given to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Students from\u00a0<strong>APRU\/ANSO member institutions &amp; UCAS partners<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Those interested in pursuing\u00a0<strong>Master\u2019s\/PhD studies at UCAS<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2705\u00a0<strong>Tuition waiver, accommodation, meals &amp;
