This initiative supports short-term visits and research stays at CAS institutions in China, with the aim of strengthening scientific collaboration and knowledge exchange across Belt and Road countries and beyond.<\/p>\n<p>As an ANSO member, Xjenza Malta is disseminating this opportunity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fellowship Categories &amp; Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The programme is open to applicants <strong>not based in mainland China<\/strong>, and offers three different categories based on professional level and background:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Category I \u2013 ANSO Partner Fellowship<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Who can apply:<\/strong> Senior researchers and management staff from scientific and educational institutions. Priority is given to applicants from ANSO member countries.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Duration:<\/strong> 1\u20132 weeks<\/li>\n<li><strong>Support:<\/strong> RMB 10,000\/week (pre-tax) + one-time round-trip travel subsidy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Category II \u2013 ANSO Visiting Scientist Fellowship<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Who can apply:<\/strong> Assistant professors (including postdocs), associate professors, professors, or professionals at a comparable level.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Duration:<\/strong> 1\u20136 months<\/li>\n<li><strong>Support:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>RMB 15,000\/month (pre-tax) for assistant professors, postdoctoral researchers, or professionals at a comparable level<\/li>\n<li>RMB 25,000\/month (pre-tax) for associate professors or professionals at a comparable level<\/li>\n<li>RMB 35,000\/month (pre-tax) for full professors or professionals at a comparable level<br \/>\n<em>(All categories include one round-trip travel subsidy)<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Category III \u2013 CAS-ANSO Alumni Fellowship<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Who can apply:<\/strong> Graduates of the CAS-TWAS, CAS \u201cBelt and Road\u201d Master\u2019s, or CAS-ANSO Scholarship programs, now working in science and technology fields within Belt and Road regions.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Duration:<\/strong> 1\u20132 weeks<\/li>\n<li><strong>Support:<\/strong> RMB 10,000\/week (pre-tax) + round-trip travel subsidy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Application Details<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>All materials must be submitted by 24 April 2025<\/strong>.
