Applicants from all fields may apply. Applications that are related to AI will be funded by the Malta Digital Innovation Authority (MDIA).<\/li>\n<li>The Open Access Journal Support \u2013 available to Xjenza Malta research grant holders to publish their results!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The primary aim of the scheme is to <strong>enhance research connectivity<\/strong> through activities that foster dialogue, community building, and interdisciplinary interaction across Maltese institutions.<\/p>\n<p>Local Maltese <strong>public and private entities<\/strong> are eligible to apply for funding of up to <strong>\u20ac8,000<\/strong> for networking-focused projects running over a period of 12 months. If applying to the Local Networking Scheme with a Diaspora Researcher, entities are also eligible for an additional <strong>\u20ac2,000<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Supported activities may include <strong>local networking events, researcher exchanges, workshops, roundtables, stakeholder engagement sessions, and other eligible forms of research networking<\/strong>, as outlined in the Rules of Participation.<\/p>\n<p>For further information on this year\u2019s call, kindly refer to the <strong>Rules of Participation<\/strong> and <strong>Application Form<\/strong>.
