Are you ready to launch your career with ESA? Apply for the ESA Graduate Trainee (EGT) Programme and become part of Europe’s space exploration journey!

How to Apply:

  1. Explore the Opportunities: Browse the available ESA Graduate Trainee positions and find the role that best aligns with your academic background and career aspirations. As of 2024, you can submit up to three applications, so take your time to select the one(s) that match your interests.
  2. Create Your Profile: Register and create your candidate profile by uploading your CV and motivation letter.
  3. Submit Your Application: Apply directly through your profile. You can track the status of your application at any time.

Eligibility:

To apply for the EGT Programme, you must:

  • Be a student in the final year of a Master’s degree or a recent graduate in engineering, science, IT, or business services.
  • Have graduated by the time you start your traineeship and provide ESA with a copy of your diploma within three months of your start date.

Traineeship Benefits:

  • 1-year contract (with possible extension to a second year)
  • 2.5 days’ paid leave per month
  • Tax-free monthly salary in ESA Member States
  • Travel expenses reimbursed at the start and end of the contract
  • Expatriation and/or installation allowances if relocating from another country
  • Comprehensive social security and pension scheme affiliation
