Complimenting the launch of the Digital Innovation Programme, funded by Xjenza Malta and the Malta Digital Innovation Authority, the Digital Vouchers Programme is also being launched.
The programme aims to broaden the range of funding opportunities available in the digital sphere while extending access to a wider community of stakeholders.
The programme offers four distinct vouchers applicable to the digital domain:
- Data Readiness Voucher: Supports entities in labelling and, or cleaning and, or digitising and, or mapping data, including but not limited to internal entity’s datasets, to established schema or data quality standards
- Build Voucher: Supports entities to provide open and/or generate synthetic data.
- Regulatory Assessment Voucher: Assists entities in establishing whether a system qualifies as an AI system, whether a product contains digital elements within the scope of the CRA, and what corresponding risk category or compliance requirements may apply.
- TARF/MDIA Sandbox Voucher: Supports entities who wish to enrol in the MDIA’s Technology Assessment Recognition Framework (TARF) or MDIA Sandbox which is the Level 1 component of TARF.
These vouchers will be open for Sole Applicants which are Maltese Registered Legal Entities from Public, Private and Academic Origin.
